C U Next Weekend Skateboard Release!!!!

Recording act C U Next Weekend will be featured at the benefit party for Local Love and will be releasing their limited edition skateboard decks. This all takes place on Wednesday Night, December 4, 2009, at 2272 Telegraph Avenue. The benefit party begins at 6:00 pm.

These decks were designed and painted by Keith “K-Dub” Williams who is the founder of "Local Love". “K-Dub”, and pro skater (and Oakland native) Karl Watson co-created skating events to bring skateboarding to the inner city. K-dub recently opened "Town Park", a skate park located in West Oakland. Local Love provides a recreational alternative to kids in the inner city. The group will donate skateboards from their limited edition artist rendition skateboards to Town Park.
